Mail lands in the folders that already carry rules in Nuxbe, and appointments reconcile in both directions. Mail is reconciled through change lists. Nuxbe remembers where it left off and fetches only what has been added since. That keeps even a large mailbox manageable after years of use. ### Calendar Synchronization Your appointments from Nuxbe are automatically synchronized with your Outlook calendar and vice versa. Schedule changes are applied in real time, giving you a complete overview of your availability at all times. ### Mailboxes instead of IMAP Every folder of a connected mailbox is imported, nested ones included. What Nuxbe can already do with a folder continues unchanged: turn incoming mail into tickets, leads or purchase invoices and assign them to the right person straight away. Shared mailboxes such as info@ or accounts@ connect the same way after a one-time consent. ### Everyone connects their own account An employee links their Microsoft account in two clicks from their own profile. It takes no administrator rights and no appointment with IT, and sent mail afterwards lands in the mailbox's real Sent Items folder rather than only in Nuxbe. In practiceWhat the integration changes in practice ---------------------------------------- ### The service mailbox as a source of tickets A shared mailbox is connected once, and every incoming mail becomes a record with a history, an owner and a link to the contact. Replies go back from the same address the customer wrote to. ### Appointments in Outlook and in the ERP Nuxbe creates a calendar group of its own in the mailbox and mirrors the selected calendars into it, the virtual ones from tasks, leads, projects and birthdays included. Move an appointment in Outlook and Microsoft reports the change, which Nuxbe picks up promptly. ### Getting started without the Azure portal For companies without Microsoft administration of their own, the central route is the fastest: no registration, no secret, no waiting on IT. Anyone who later wants their own application configures it and takes over control at that point. SetupTwo routes, depending on who holds control ------------------------------------------ The simple route needs nothing beyond the user signing in. They link their account from their profile and consent to the permissions for mailbox, sending and calendars. After that the connection is live. To import an entire mailbox without a user signing in, a catch-all mailbox for instance, the permission is granted at application level and consented to by an administrator. Your own application adds tenant ID, application ID, secret and a redirect address. For calendars you define how far the reconciliation reaches in time and what the calendar group in the mailbox should be called. Each user then picks which of their calendars leave the system at all. ### Requirements - A licensed mailbox or a true shared mailbox - For the central route, nothing but the user signing in - For your own application, its registration and a redirect address - Administrator consent for a tenant-wide import - A running schedule and a reachable address for change notifications LimitsWhat the integration does not cover ----------------------------------- Distribution lists and plain alias addresses cannot be imported. There has to be a real mailbox behind the address, either licensed or created as a shared mailbox. Contact synchronisation and a Teams integration are not part of the scope. For the mirrored virtual calendars, Nuxbe is the authoritative source. Title and time can be changed in Outlook and come back, but an appointment newly created there is removed again. Birthdays are read-only in both directions. Outlook does not reveal a newly added calendar group on its own; it has to be expanded and ticked once per device. If a mailbox goes unsynced for a long time, the change list expires at Microsoft and Nuxbe fetches the whole state again, which takes longer than an ordinary run.
