Reservations can be managed clearly, tables are assigned efficiently, and capacities are optimally utilized. Whether a phone reservation entered by your staff or an online booking by the guest themselves, all reservations land centrally in the system and are visible to the entire service team. ### Table Management Map your floor plan digitally. Define tables with capacities, areas such as terrace or dining room, and special tables for larger groups. The system knows your spatial layout and automatically suggests suitable tables for reservations. ### Time Slot Booking Reservations are managed in configurable time slots. Set service hours, minimum and maximum durations, and prevent overbooking. The system accounts for buffer times between reservations and displays available capacity in real time. ### Capacity Planning Keep track of your venue's utilization. The capacity planner shows at a glance when which tables are occupied or available. This allows you to quickly respond to reservation requests and plan peak times with sufficient staffing. In practiceFrom the phone call to the table -------------------------------- ### A floor plan instead of a list Tables are laid out on a grid the way they actually stand, each with its capacity. A reservation is dragged onto a table or moved to another time, and several tables can be combined for a larger party. ### The guest who books for themselves An embeddable widget puts booking on your own website. It shows only the time slots released for online booking, and a release can be withdrawn again for individual days or periods when a private function takes the room. ### Confirm, change, cancel A reservation moves from pending through confirmed to arrived, no-show or cancelled. Confirmations and changes go out as email, and the guest can cancel through a link in that mail, which frees the table again immediately. SetupRooms, tables, time slots ------------------------- First the rooms are created and the tables placed inside them, each with its capacity. The plan does not have to be beautiful, it has to be recognisable, so the service team reads it without thinking. Then come the time slots, meaning the service periods in which reservations are possible at all. For each slot you decide whether it is bookable online and how much notice a booking needs. Finally the two mail templates are set up, one for a new and one for a changed reservation, along with the cancellation deadline and the text shown when nothing is left. A sending account is configured for the mail. ### Requirements - Rooms with placed tables and capacities - Time slots for the service periods - A sending account for confirmation mail - For online booking, a place on your own website LimitsWhat the module does not cover ------------------------------ Reservation and billing are separate. Deposits, prepayment and the bill at the end of the evening do not belong here; the till handles those. Notifications go by email. The module sends no SMS and no messenger message, and without an email address on the guest no confirmation goes out at all. A deleted reservation is gone and tells the guest nothing.
