Incoming payments are intelligently matched with open invoices - manual payment allocation is a thing of the past. Via the regulated FinAPI interface, your bank data is transmitted securely and in compliance with data protection regulations. FinAPI is BaFin-regulated as a payment initiation service and account information service and supports over 3,000 banks in Germany and Europe. ### Real-Time Account Synchronization Your bank transactions are automatically synchronized at regular intervals. New credits and debits appear promptly in Nuxbe, so you always have an overview of the current account balance and all movements - without having to log into online banking. ### Matching that remembers what it learned Incoming payments are matched to open invoices by reference, amount and counterparty. Every decision is recorded and reused on similar transactions, and the counterparty is tied to a contact once name or IBAN have been brought together. Any assignment can be corrected later or split across several orders. ### Multi-Bank Support Connect as many bank accounts from different banks as you need - business accounts, savings accounts, or foreign currency accounts. All transactions flow centrally into Nuxbe, giving you a consolidated view of your entire liquidity. In practiceWhat the connection is for day to day ------------------------------------- ### Settling open items The import pulls the day's transactions, pending ones included. Anything that maps unambiguously to an open invoice is assigned; the rest stays in a list you can work through in minutes. A single payment can settle several invoices at once. ### Executing payment runs Transfers, standing orders and direct debits go to the bank individually or as a complete payment run. Approval uses the same method as online banking, and the status of every payment is written back until the bank confirms it. ### Reading liquidity instead of assembling it The dashboard carries balance, income and spending, largest counterparties, budgets and savings goals as their own tiles. Because every account lands in Nuxbe, that is one view across all your banks rather than one per institution. SetupFrom credentials to the first import ------------------------------------ It starts with finAPI credentials, a client ID and a client secret. If you would rather not sign a contract of your own, the connection can run through the Nuxbe gateway instead; either way the banking credentials live at finAPI, not with us. Then the bank connection is established once. Nuxbe walks through your bank's approval flow and stores the consent it grants. From that point a recurring run fetches transactions without anyone logging in. Direct debits add two things that belong to the scheme anyway: the creditor identifier on the client, and a signed mandate per customer. Without both, the collection is deliberately held back. ### Requirements - finAPI credentials, or the connection through the Nuxbe gateway - A bank account with an IBAN and an approval method from your bank - A creditor identifier for direct debits - A signed mandate per customer for direct debits - A running schedule for the recurring import LimitsWhere the interface stops ------------------------- Standing orders can be created and read, but not changed and not cancelled. That stays with your bank. Credit card accounts deliver transactions, but no payment can be initiated from them. Consent is time limited and expires after ninety days in live operation. A fresh approval is due before transactions flow again. Where a bank offers two access routes, each one is updated on its own. Which bank is supported how far, and what an account permits, is decided by finAPI and the bank, not by Nuxbe. An account whose access is read-only stays read-only in Nuxbe too.
