Vacation, sickness and other absences are requested, checked and approved. Nuxbe does not run payroll. Salary details are stored on the record, and payroll stays with your payroll office or tax advisor. FeaturesWhat the module does in detail ------------------------------ ### Employee record - Personal data, address, tax ID and social security number - Hire date, probation, fixed term and termination, plus expiry dates for work and residence permits - Health insurance, bank details and salary details as master data - Departments with a manager, nested if needed, and supervisors - Documents and comments on the employee ### Working time models - Weekly hours, working days and annual vacation entitlement - Weekly schedules per weekday with start, end and break, also rotating over several weeks - Overtime cap and compensation - Assignment with history when the model changes ### Vacation and absences - Absence types such as vacation or sickness, each with its own effect on vacation and overtime balance - Requests for full days, half days or time ranges, with a substitute - Checks for remaining vacation, overlaps, blackout periods and rules such as minimum notice or proof - Approve, reject or revoke with a comment, with notifications to the department manager, the substitute and the employee - Vacation blackouts per employee, department or location - Carryover rules for remaining vacation with an expiry date ### Working time and balances - Clock in, clock out and breaks in the browser, plus time tracking on tasks, tickets, orders and projects - Daily close with target, actual, breaks and overtime - Adjustments to overtime and vacation balance with a reason, such as payout or special leave - Public holidays per location, including half days ### Overview for employees and HR - A personal profile for every employee with requests, balances and days - HR dashboard with headcount, sick rate, overtime, vacation balances and an absence calendar - REST API for employees, absences, working times and public holidays In practiceA vacation request from request to balance ------------------------------------------ An employee requests two weeks of vacation in August in her profile and enters a colleague as substitute. Nuxbe checks her remaining vacation and finds neither a blackout period in her department nor an overlap. The department manager and the substitute are notified. The manager approves the request, the employee is told, and the period shows as taken in the team absence calendar. As the days are closed, her vacation balance goes down. Overtime from the spring stays on the overtime balance until it is compensated or paid out and booked as an adjustment. Where the module stops ---------------------- Payroll, applicant tracking and performance reviews are not part of the module. Salary details are stored but not processed. There is no shift planning with allowances, and no time clock terminals with badge or fingerprint. Time is recorded in the browser or through the API. Public holidays are maintained per location and not imported automatically by state. Anyone with the permission may approve. There is no rule that the supervisor must approve, and no multi step approval. Frequently asked questions -------------------------- Can Nuxbe run payroll? No. Nuxbe manages working time, vacation and absences. Payroll stays with your payroll office or tax advisor. How does a vacation request work? The employee files the request in their profile, Nuxbe checks remaining vacation, overlaps and blackout periods, and the department manager is notified. Approval takes one click, with an optional comment. Does Nuxbe calculate overtime? Yes. The working time model and the recorded time give a comparison of target and actual for every day, and the difference goes to the overtime balance. Are public holidays taken into account automatically? Yes, once they are set up for the location. Holidays are maintained once per location, including recurring ones and half days.
