Each of these sources can be shown or hidden on its own. Moving a lead in the calendar changes the start and end of the lead itself. You create appointments in your own calendars, as single events, all day or as a series. Public calendars are visible to every user and can only be changed by the user who created them. FeaturesWhat the module does in detail ------------------------------ ### Your own calendars Every user creates their own calendars, with name, description and colour. - Private calendars only you can see - Public calendars every user can read - Calendar groups that bundle several calendars under one name - Custom fields per calendar: text, multi line text, checkbox or date - Day, week and month views, with calendar week and a marker for the current time ### Events and recurring events - Events with start, end, title and description, also all day - Repeat every n days, weeks, months or years, weekly on chosen weekdays - A series ends on a date or after a number of occurrences - When changing a series, choose: only this event, this and all following, or all - Cancel single occurrences of a series and reactivate them - Move events and change their length by dragging ### Dates from the ERP Nobody creates these calendars, they come from the data in the system and can be shown one by one. - Tasks from start date to due date - Projects from start to end - Leads with their planned period - Orders with their delivery date, split by order type - Working times per employee - Resource bookings and contact birthdays In practiceA week in the calendar ---------------------- On Monday the head of sales opens the week view. Next to their own calendar the leads are shown: a lead whose quote phase is running late gets dragged one week back. The start and end of the lead move with it. The weekly team meeting is a series in the public team calendar, every Tuesday until the end of the year. When it is called off once, only that one occurrence is cancelled and the series carries on. To plan shipments, the warehouse shows the orders. Every order sits in the calendar on its delivery date, so a crowded week is visible at a glance. Where the module stops ---------------------- Nuxbe does not send invitations to attendees and does not track acceptances or declines. An event belongs to a calendar, not to a guest list. The core does not sync with external calendars. The CalDAV premium package does: read and write over CalDAV, for example with Apple Calendar or Thunderbird, an Exchange compatible access for Outlook, and ICS feeds to subscribe to, for example in Google Calendar. Frequently asked questions -------------------------- What does the calendar in Nuxbe display? Your own events and the dates from the ERP: tasks, projects, leads, order delivery dates, working times, resource bookings and contact birthdays. Each source can be shown or hidden on its own. Can I create recurring events? Yes. An event repeats every n days, weeks, months or years, weekly also on chosen weekdays. The series ends on a date or after a fixed number. When you change it, you choose whether you mean only this event, this and all following, or the whole series. Can several employees see the same calendar? Yes, through a public calendar. Every user can see it, and the user who created it can change it. Does moving an event also change the record behind it? For leads, yes: moving or extending a lead in the calendar changes the start and end of the lead. Tasks, projects, orders and working times are only displayed in the calendar and are changed in their own record. Does the calendar sync with Outlook, Apple or Google? Yes, with the CalDAV premium package. Apple Calendar and Thunderbird read and write over CalDAV, Outlook connects through an Exchange compatible access, and Google Calendar subscribes to a read only ICS feed. Without the package the events live in Nuxbe only.
